Ocotber has been a very busy month. I traveled to Twin Falls to take pictures for my business. Then we had a birthday party for Ridlee. I can't believe she is 4 going on 16. (She talks back to me like she is a teenager. It drives me crazy!!) Then we went to Utah for the Jason Aldean concert and had a Chuck-e-cheese birthday party for Ridlee with her cousins. Then Halloween, and all the parties and Boo and the Zoo, etc. I fell like I haven't had time to breath.

And the 2 days it snowed. I'm so glad it melted.

Here is a recap of the past 6 months.
In April we went to Florida and visited friends.

In June we went to Colorado to Country Jams. We camped for 4 days and watched some awesome performances.

Kaida turned one on March 23rd. She hated her birthday cake. She cried and screamed when she tasted her cake. She didn't care abour opening her presents. Pretty much she disliked the whole day. Hopefully next year will be better.

Ridlee and Kaida had a good time bowling with friends.

We also made 2 trips to Jackson in March. We went on a sliegh ride to see the Elk and we went to the Snowmachine Hill Climbs.

Wow time has flown. Kaida will be one in 2 weeks! I can't believe my baby will be one. Kaida goes, and goes, and goes. She started taking steps in January and now she walks across the room. She will chase Ridlee around the house. It super cute. The girls love to play together which is nice most of the time.

I finally got my photography website up and going this week. I'm nervous but excited to start my business. I love taking pictures. So this should be the funnest job i've had. my website is www.wildlilyphotography.com

Haiti, Jamaica, florida vacation

Me and Travis enjoyed a wonderful 9 day vacation childless. We went on a cruise where we met some awesome people. Haiti was gorgeous. The people were very pushy to get us to buy stuff. You could see the desperation in their eyes. It was sad. A few times the police had to yell at them to back off.
Jamaica was interesting. We got a private walking tour from some crazy Jamaican guy. It was very poverish and the taxi drivers beg and try to push you into their cabs. We saw some guy peeing right on the side of street not caring that lots of people could see him. The shop people were a lot nicer than in Haiti. We got a lot better deals. Maybe because all the jamaicans were smoking weed they were more chill.
On the boat we saw some funny shows and competitions. I won the Miss Bicep competition and my team won the Qwest game show. It was a lot of fun. We are defiently going on another cruise.
While we were gone Kaida had mastered crawling the correct way. She also started saying "momma". It's so cute.

Hello New Year and it's about time I added to my blog. I started another blog for my photography (www.wildlilyphotography.blogspot.com) but I haven't put very many pictures on there and the set up bugs me. So hopefully I can get that fixed soon.

Kaida started crawling. It's more of a swim across the floor but it's cute. She likes to pull herself up to things. She might walk before she learns the real way to crawl. Kaida is still small weighing in at 15.8 pounds putting her in the 4th percentile. I like my little runt, it's easier to carry to her around.

Ridlee continues to go to preschool and dance. She loves them both a lot. She is my little perfectionist. She has to color inside the lines and tape every little rip on a page.

We are looking forward to our cruise this month. We are going to florida, Haiti and Jamaica. It will be nice to get away from the kids and the cold. Relaxation and quiet here I come!!!

I can't believe it is already December! I can't believe how busy I am raising 2 little (always needing attention) girls. I am very far behind with blogging and uploading pictures. Hopefully I will get that done before the mass of Christmas Day pictures I will take. I have started getting into professional photography. I really enjoy it (when I get the time). I have been taking classing and doing model shoots. I got a studio set up in my basement. I can't wait til my girls will actually let me take pictures and edit them. I will post pictures soon (I hope).

Ridlee turned 3 this month. I can't believe she is that old. She loves preschool and wants to go everyday. I love all the funny things she says. When we put her to bed the other night she yells through her door "It is not ok to put me to bed" so funny. We took the girls to Boo at the Zoo. Ridlee had a great time. Ridlee also started taking Dance. She does so good and follows the teacher very well. I was shocked and impressed. She likes to show people her dance moves.

I can't believe Kaida is already 6 months. She is 13lbs 11oz and 26 inches. She loves watching her big sister. It is so cute to watch her hold her own bottle. But when she drops it, she is extremely mad.
We went to Utah for my cousin Monty's wedding. Ridlee was so cute she was commentating the wedding ceremony. When the bride walked down the isle she said "Look, Monty married a princess." The first time Kaida ate baby food Ridlee fed it to her. They both did so good. Love my girls!

August has been a very busy month. Kaida turned 5 months old. We had 2 family reunions. And it feels like we are always on the go.

I can't believe Kaida is already 4 months old. She is starting to get out of her colicky stage and laughing when we play with her. She thinks Ridlee is hilarious. Kaida is now 24 inches long and 11.7 lbs. Tall and skinny little thing.
We have enjoyed watching the Blue Angels for the past 5 days. They flew right over our house. Ridlee did not like the noise or the house vibrating. She did look at one that flew right about us and said "look mom is has sparkles!"
We also went to a condo in Ogden and went swimming everyday with Kyler and Brandy. Ridlee had a blast.

The 4th was fun. Ridlee is still afraid of fireworks. She liked the big ones at the river for a little while. I think the noise it what she hates the most. Ridlee loved getting candy at the parade.

Kaida just turned 3 months old. She is happier more often which is nice. Ridlee likes to talk to Kaida and get in her face. Their personalities are soooooo different, it's funny. In the past month we have been to Utah to visit family again. We went camping in Palisades. Both girls did great camping. They both slept throught the night in the camper. I wish Kaida would do that at home. I have adjusted to being a stay at home mom and I'm not in survival mode anymore. Yeah for me. We also put a playset in the backyard. Ridlee loves going down the slide.

Kaida just had her 2 month check up. She is now 8lbs 15oz. She is our little runt. She still wears preemie and newborn clothes! She is still colicky. I hope that passes soon. I need a break. Kaida wants to be held 24 hours or a day or she tells you about it. The only time both girls are happy is when we are shopping! They are born shoppers. SO needless to say my house is a mess and I might get to clean it in a month or so when I'm not tending to 2 demanding opinionated girls.

We did make a trip to Utah and Ridlee got to play with her cousins.

We also went camping. It snowed on us, but then it would be sunny and nice. We had bipolar weather. It was fun to get out. Ridlee loved riding her 4-wheeler all over. She was very upset when her battery died.

Kaida was born Tuesday March 23rd at 1:40pm. Weighing in at 6 lbs 15 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. She has lots of dark blonde hair and olive skin. She is sooooo good. She slept all through the night. Freaked me out cause I wanted to feed her. Here is one picture. I will post a slide show later.

Last Dr Appointment

Today is such a good day. I had my last Dr appointment. I am dialated to a 3, 50% effaced and I lost weight!! How great is that. And the sun is shinning. I actually have motivation to get things done (gotta love nesting). And I am loving having a new car (2008 Toyota Highlander). Yep this is going to be a great week! (I am Mrs. Positivity right now. That might change if I go into labor in the middle of the night) My next post will be pictures of my beautiful little girl (as long as the ultrasound was correct). Good-bye for now.

36 week update

My doctor told me she would enduce me on the 23rd. Yeah!!!! (I knew this 2 weeks ago but I was too lazy to post it) I can't wait to have Kaida join us. Ridlee is getting excited too which is really cute.

First Haircut

Ridlee got her first haircut today. Before we left the house I told her Aunt Tangi was going to get scissors and cut her hair. She started crying and yelled "No she's not." Once we got to the salon she did great. She sat so well in the chair and was happy the whole time. (It might have something to do with the fact that she ate candy the whole time)

30 week update

Our baby girl is doing well. She acts like she wants to get out of my belly. She moves so much and scraps her arms and legs against my belly. It's fun to watch my stomach jump and move. Ridlee is excited about the baby. She will ask to see her sister. When anyone asks what is your baby sister's name she will say Kaida. We weren't 100% sold on that name but now it looks like we don't have a choice. Whenever we say a different name for the baby she looks at us funny and says "no, it's baby Kaida."

New Years

We spent New Years with Travis's family. We did a lot of sledding and playing in the snow with the 4-wheelers. Ridlee didn't like the snow very much at first. I was pulling her very slowly in a sled around the driveway and she was crying her head off. She yells at me "Mommy I'm crying!" (As if I couldn't hear her) I laughed really hard at that one. She did go down the giant hill with me in Ucon. But we had to dodge a kid and Ridlee got sprayed in the face with snow and after that she wanted nothing to do with the snow. So she played in the truck.

Wow December has flown by. Christmas was good. Ridlee had a lot of fun opening presents. She would start to unwrap a gift and yell "oh my goodness...a box!" We has to prompt to her to open the box to see what was inside. She loved Santa and anytime she say a picture of Santa she would get excited. When she heard jingle bells she would yell Santa. She loved singing christmas songs. It was really cute. Her are some pictures.

Everytime we asked Ridlee what the baby was going to be she would say a girl. And say she wanted a sister. Well that is what she is getting.

Florida - November 09

Ridlee did so good flying. We rode on a total of 6 plans to get there and back. It took 14 hours of travel in one day to get to Orlando. While we were there we went to Coco Beach, which Ridlee was afraid of the water and sand for the first hour and she cried. Then she played in the sand til she was covered from head to toe. Then we went to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Ridlee rode the rides and loved them. She loved to see the characters. She kept saying she wanted to kiss them. She kept asking to see the princess. She got most excited when she met Daisy Duck. The whole trip she was obsessed with Micky Mouse. It was really cute.

Ridlee turned 2 this month. They grow up so fast. We had a party for her and then went to blast off. For Halloween we went to Boo at the Zoo. She didn't get to go trick-or-treating because we flew out to Florida on Halloween day.

Ridlee started asking to sit on the potty 3 weeks ago and when I sat her on she actually went so then I decided it was time to potty train her. To say she LOVES potty candy is an understatement. She has stayed dry in panties for half the day.

I was looking through some pictures and realized I never posted them. Ridlee loves playing in turtle pool. She loves to take rides on the 4-wheeler and will tell dad "I do it. I drive" One going on 16 already. She did fall asleep on a 4-wheeler trip one day. She drooled all over Travis's arm. She loves to wear my shoes. It doesn't matter if they are high heels. She will still war them. She is very independent and likes to get her own drink of water out of the fridge (scary!).

We flew to NYC last Sunday then on Tues night we flew to Baltimore, Maryland in the smallest commercial airplane possible. This thing was unreal. I was panicked we were going to die. The plane was so loud and I was sitting next to the prop. My dear husband Travis leans over and says "well if the prop flies off it will kill you instantly." Thanks hunny for the reassurance. I took a picture of the plane when we got off. It has only 8 rows of seats.

So I found some more pictures of Ridlee that really made me laugh. When we were swimming at the hotel she wanted to be like mommy and daddy so she decided to lay out and get a tan.

Utah trips

So in June we took 2 trips to Utah. W took Ridlee to the Hogle Zoo. She enjoyed seeing animals that she knew like: bear, dog, cat, bird, etc. She wasn't very interested in the elephants, giraffes and so on. She did like the Zebra though. We also had the Terry family reunion and took Ridlee swimming (which she is not a big fan of). She also likes to tantrum now. Ya, it's pretty awesome. We were staying at the Hyatt in South Jordan and in the elevator with 7 strangers she threw herself on the ground, screamed and kicked her feet. The whole elevator was laughing. Then when we put her in the swimming pool she screamed and voiced some complaints, which had the other guests at the pool laughing also. One good thing is that Ridlee talks alot. When went to dinner with friends. Ridlee kept saying "I want sit by baby". That was the only time she has lasted at a restaurant more than 15 minutes without being a pain.

We went camping again. This time we went with 5 other families. Ridlee had fun playing with the camp chairs. I swear that is what she did most of the day.

We went camping this last weekend. Ridlee had a blast. She loved to run around, eat rocks, climb in and out of camp chairs and explore.
She brushed her teeth for 20 minutes.

The snow has finally melted, yahhhh. Ridlee loves to be outside.
Ridlee now pulls an "O" face and she says "where did it go" It's hilarious. She will throw something then look and you and say "where did it go?"

So Ridlee is talking in 2 and 3 word sentences. It really cute. She will say "I want mommy" (even though she is reaching for daddy sometimes). She will point to anything and say "What's that?" She loves cheese and when you give it to her she says "It's cheese!" When we take her to the doctor she will look and him and say "No" and then "good bye". It's pretty funny. She recently fell in love with dogs. When she sees one she gets all excited and says "It's a doggy." We watched Bolt the other night and she pointed and said doggy a million times. She hates the grass. She would not walk on it. We had to bribe her by holding chocolate in the middle of the lawn. Then she would slowly walk on the squishy grass to the chocolate, then walk strait back to pavement. She also is fascinated by airplanes. When were outside 3 planes took off. She pointed and started jabbering excitedly. Then she said airplane. She amazes me.

I need to be better about blogging. Well we just got back from a week in Arizona. Travis's company opened a new office and we went down for the grand opening. My job was to decorate the office. I had fun decorating. We also were able to hang out with one of Travis's old college buddies from BSU. Matt took us to some cool places. Coming back to the snow made me realize how much I want to move somewhere warm. I hate the cold. Ridlee was very upset with us when we got back. Thank you to Justin and Tangi for watching her while we were gone (and Mom). Ridlee would not let us out of her sight. She would scream and cry if we tried to leave the room. Poor thing. Next time we will take her with us. Bye for now.

Ridlee did good opening her presents this year. She loved all of her new toys. She even got to meet Santa. She didn't really like Santa at first. Ridlee loves to run around the house now. It's quite adorable. She loves to say: mom, dad, no, go, bye-bye, more, uh oh, wow, yummy, thanks, grandma, papa, etc. She also picked up on sign language. She signs more and eat (she loves to eat!). She loves to give hugs and kisses. She is a complete ham and we love every minute of it.

Ok, so today is the first day that I have had internet in a week. Our laptop crashed on us. I was not a happy camper. I felt very lost without internet. We had family pictures taken a few weeks ago. They turned out really good. The kids did great even though it was really cold.I can't believe that it is already Thanksgiving. It snuck up on me this year. I am not prepared for the Holiday season.

Our little monkey had fun at the zoo. She couldn't take her eyes off all the kids in their costumes. She loved the tiger, too. She enjoyed getting nerds and dots because she loved the sound they made when she shook them uncontrollably.

Ridlee loves to run when she is holding on to toys that move. Yes that right RUN not walk. For the past week Ridlee has been walking/running back and forth between me and Travis. At first she would take 2 steps then fall forward. Now she can walk ten feet before she falls. She has learned to slow down and not run. She hates to fall and if we don't catch her she gets discouraged and stops walking for the night. She is so cute when she walks. She giggles and sways. She has great balance when she is standing. She has been standing for a few months and she dances. I thought since she was standing and dancing that it wouldn't be a big stretch to walk, but to her it is. She doesn't want to walk unless she can do it perfectly. It won't be long now until she starts running all over the house.

She did pretty good opening her presents. Of course her cousins had to help and took over some of the time. She loved all her presents and played with them for hours afterwards. She dug right into the cake. She loved it. When she's eating somthing that she really likes she does touchdown. She did touchdown quite a few times. She didn't even mind being put into the sink to wash off afterwards. It was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who came and helped celebrate with us!

Ridlee started crawling in July. She is all over the place. It is so cute. She loves to get into mommy and daddy stuff. Her toys are not good enough. Her favorite things are the tv remote and the phones. She has her own cell phone but it's not as fun as mom's cell phone. She loves to clap and shake her head no.

Ridlee loved the fireworks. She actually stayed awake to watch them. The loud noises never scared her. She really enjoyed watching all the people at the parade.
We went to Lagoon with the family. She laughed when she rode the carosel. I think she is going to love riding the rides in a few years.

In June we went to San Antonio, Texas. It was a nice relaxing vacation. I loved Texas. The people are really friendly. Everyone stopped to say hi to Ridlee. Strangers even asked to hold her. Ridlee loved all the attention. We went to Sea World and the Alamo. We also went to Austin.

The warmth has finally arrived! Time to head outside. Ridlee does not like the grass. Everytime we sit her on the grass she cries. She loves to hang upside down though. In April me and Travis will be taking a trip to Vegas. I can't wait to feel the heat and not have to wear a coat! We plan on hitting a few shows and just lounging by the pool. My brother Justin and Tangi are planning to go to Vegas also in April (22nd to be exact) to get married. We are so excited to bring her and the kids into the family.

I'm sick of Winter

I am so excited that spring is on the way!! Ridlee is just getting over RSV. Poor thing has been sick (and cranky). Hopefull with the warm wather the run of sickness will be over. We actually went for a walk around the neighborhood the other day with the neighbors. I can't wait for the summer to take Ridlee out to the lake to go swimming (well in her case floating) and boating. She will be crawling this summer. I love to see her grow. She is such a joy.
